Project Brief:
For this project, I used typecooker.com to create custom typographical recipes that I followed in order to achieve the final goal of a full custom typeface. I chose a theme that these recipes would reflect in order to create a cohesive look across the fonts. The anatomy of type was examined thoroughly paying special attention to stems, serifs, weights, and heights. For each recipe, I created an appropriately designed mockup associated with the product the typeface is advertising. At the end of this process, I ended up creating a full typeface using the Glyphs program out of my favorite recipe followed by social media advertisements that promoted the new typeface.
